Ms J's Movie

The Digikids have spent this term working with Tinesh, an ex-Elm Park School pupil. He's been showing us how to make a movie starting from brainstorming ideas, storyboards, how to use a video camera correctly, types of shots, script writing etc.

While Ms J was away some of the Digikids make a quick movie to try out a few techniques before getting into the "real" movie. She was very surprised and impressed when she saw what we had done in only a few minutes!

Go Animate Version 2

Go Animate version 2 is just Go Animate for schools. It's got new free characters and totally awesome backgrounds and you don't need any credits to buy backgrounds and characters unless you make your own. This version is way better than the old one but I still would like to upgrade to school plus!

Thanks to my wonderful Digikids. I am so impressed with the different techniques you have used in your Kid Pix pictures and also how you recognise that this fabulous application is not just for juniors! Best of all - thanks to all the Digikids who have made such positive and detailed comments on our blog - give yourselves 1000 house points each!

To make my picture I used the mixer tools for the background and I imported a photo from Photo Booth. I've written 'Going to ....' so you can imagine where I'm going to!

This is my photo I did on kid pix. It is a photo of me changed in to something esle. I started to do my photo on photo booth and then changed.
